All right, time for some nostalgia.
I discovered this game by chance through someone’s tweet back in the 2010s, when X was still called Twitter. In the game, you play as a little white bunny. The aim is to propel the bunny upwards into the night sky by leaping off bells scattered throughout the screen. You score points for each bell, and extra for jumping on white doves, which you’ll encounter at certain elevations during the game.

A sweet Christmas-sounding track loops in the background as you guide this little adventurer through the sky.

How adorable is this!? Also, those are some beautiful graphics.
It’s a simple premise, but harder than it looks, especially when your score starts racking up and you start overthinking your next moves.
I liked it so much that I paid for the game on the App store as well a few years back and played on mobile occasionally. Sadly, however, it doesn’t seem to be playable on mobile anymore. I can’t tap into the game from the menu screen to begin playing.
So, today, I decided to see if it was still accessible via the developer’s website. When the frame didn’t load, I felt so disappointed at first, thinking I had no way to play this game now and that it only existed as a distant memory. Then, I realised I had clicked on the wrong page.
I managed to find the Winterbells game page, and to my surprise, the game loaded. I say it was a surprise because I thought Flash games were discontinued, but it looks like the game was reinstated using a workaround. Whew!
Here’s a short clip of my gameplay:
